It has ancient monuments such as the tomb of Catianus and the sandstone cemetery, representing death, the embalming process, and the Roman governor. There is no unemployment percentage in the village, all the locals there work in making products from the natural materials around the village. Women of "Bashandy" village master crafted alot of handicrafts shows a lot of motifs from the village's heritage. they made a lot of products from the local materials in the village helped them in their daily life at their homes and became now a source of money for their families. also those crafts are considerd a way of documenting the local heritage and its beauty. we can see this clearly in kilim and rugs products they make that reflects that heritage with the help of a local association founded by the locals there helping in a lot of fields in the village to help poor residents there and make them work for living a good life.
