Ancient Egyptians have been known for their abilities at preservation, also evident in their tombs filled with perfume holders and other storage items. Here, one may view a unique artifact made for non-vaporizing oils. ‘Lauzah’ is a pumpkin that has been painted with natural colors, and ornamented with multicolored beads and seashells cascading along the sides, to indicate the value of its content. It is enclosed with natural woven leather and can be considered a decorative artifact.
