This rug tells part of a story that aims at reviving the heritage of Fatma's forefathers, it presents a scene in traditional Nubian life. Fatma works with the traditional machinery, intricately weaving wool to create her rugs. The revival of Nubian heritage is thus present in the traditional techniques used to produce the rugs but also in the iconography within these rugs that show the traditional daily life of nubians.
